What is Colour?
Colour is light, broken down into wavelengths, each having a different vibratory rate.
An object that absorbs all the light waves with none reflected back is perceived as black. One that reflects all the light is seen as being white. We see an object as blue when the sunlight hits it and it absorbs all the colours of the spectrum except blue, which is reflected back.
Every colour vibrates at an either higher or lower rate, which creates an experience of warmth, or coolness. Violet (with the shortest wave- length and highest vibrational rate) creates a cool experience, whilst Red (the colour with the longest wave-length and slowest vibrational rate) creates a warm experience.
A rainbow consists of seven basic colours which, when seen together, are perceived as white. Many people associate these colours with the seven main chakras of the body.
1. Red is often associated with the Spirit of life, physical energy and the life force.
2. Orange’s associated with action, our personal feelings, and desires.
3. Yellow is related to our intellect, our thoughts, and our mind.
4. Green is linked to our heart centre. It brings peace.
5. Blue is the colour, which symbolizes inspiration, devotion peace, and tranquillity. It is associated with the throat chakra, communication, and clairaudience.
6. Indigo is the colour of the sixth chakra (the third eye). It represents Spiritual knowledge and the search for inner and outer awareness. Being linked with the third eye, indigo is the colour associated with clairvoyance (clear-seeing). In the harmony bottles, indigo is represented by Royal Blue
7. Violet this is the colour of transmutation where lower desires are transmuted to higher ideals. Violet is associated with Spirituality and Spiritual wisdom.
Each colour has its own unique effects and can be used for healing and balancing, as well as for stimulating deeper levels of consciousness.
COLOURS
The code of the Spirit and the eyes of the soul
When we perceive the aura we see within it colour, shape and form. These colours are the code of the Spirit; the eyes of the soul. In order to 'crack' this code we need to attune ourselves properly and with discipline. With colour it is important to note that there are positive and negative aspects to all. Red can mean rage but it can also mean energy and vitality. Colours are what they are to you. They are often personal to you. Your colours, therefore your messages and your own meanings from them must be derived. What red may mean to you can
(and often does) mean something totally different to someone else.

give and to receive?

desire knowledge of God untainted with the weaknesses of superstition

THESE INTERPRETATIONS ARE MINE, NOW FIND YOUR OWN!
Light consists of the seven colour energies: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo, and Violet. Each colour is connected to various areas of our body and will affect us differently emotionally, physically, and mentally. By learning how each colour influences us, we can effectively use colour to give us an extra boost of energy when we need it.
If you wake up in the morning with little energy, or you need to prepare for a business meeting, this is where the power of colours can help. All you have to do is reflect on the type of day you have planned; choose the colour that will help you meet the demands of the day; and then absorb that particular colour. It's like fueling your system with the right kind of gas.
